Weekly day of rest, worship and holiness.
The Sabbath is the first of the appointed times of יהוה. From sunset on the sixth day to sunset on the seventh, the covenant community ceases from labour, gathers in holy convocation, and remembers both creation and redemption. It is a perpetual sign between God and His people.
